Ted Striphas har skrivit en bok som låter mycket intressant och relevant The Late Age of Print: Everyday Book Culture from Consumerism to Control förutom att den är ute i döda-träd format så finns den även att ladda ner som Creative Commons licensierad pdf. Författaren skriver:

…not only as a copyrighted, bound physical volume, but also as a Creative Commons-licensed electronic book.  You can download the e-edition by following the “download” link of the navigation bar, above, or by clicking here.  The file is a “zipped” .pdf of the complete contents of Late Age, minus one image, for which I was (ironically) unable to secure electronic publishing rights.

Vill inte vara petig men även den digitala versionen omfattas av upphovsrätt (annars funkar inte Creative Commons licens) men jag fattar vad han vill säga. Jag ser fram emot att läsa boken. För er som inte tycker rubriken är spännande nog och inte orkar ladda ner pdf filen för att kolla så finns lite reklamtext:
